Larsen Rent a Car is not responsabile for traffic fines, reports and official statements drawn up against the client or accidents even in case these are due to mechanical failure.

The civil responsability of the client with respect to the damages caused to the vehicle in case of fire is totally covered and partially in case of an accident with an insurance excess according to the current rates. The number of days in which the car is inmobilized are not covered by the insurance and the client will compensate Larsen Rent a Car in accordance with current rates of the type of vehicle rented

FREE EXTRA DRIVERS

All extra drivers up to the maximum capacity of the vehicle are free of charge. Drivers must be aged over 21 years and have their original licenses (no photocopies) present upon collection.

FREE CHILD SEATS

Child seats will be charged 3 Euro pr. day and are advisable to be prebooked at time of making your reservation. They may be unavailable on arrival if not prebooked.

WHAT'S NOT

FUEL

The fuel used during the rental is not included in our rates! On collection you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel and the vehicle should be returned at the end of the hire period as empty as possible. There is no refund on unused fuel.

LOST KEYS ARE CHARGEABLE

Car keys are chip-coded and are both time-consuming and costly to replace. If you lose (or go swimming with) your car key during the hire period you will be asked to pay approx 160€ to obtain a replacement in addition to any transport costs incurred in providing you with a new car key. Please take good care of your car key!!

TRAFFIC FINES

Any traffic fines for speeding, illegal parking etc. incurred during the rental are your responsibility.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

There are no optional extras to add to your rental bill. The price you see is the price you pay!!

Collecting YOUR CAR

Collection of your car is from the arrivals hall at Alicante Airport. Our member of staff will meet you at the arrivals hall and give you your car keys, all you have to do is sign the contract and drive off. No complications whatsoever!!

PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL

Most of our customers prefer to pay on arrival. All charges paid locally are made in Euros. Very occasionally we may have to insist on prepayment in cases where the vehicle type is a prestige vehicle.

RETURNING THE CAR

On return to Alicante Airport, follow the signs to the airport car parking, and drive to the end of the parking lot, in the section C-5 leave the car keys and parking ticket in the boot, (remember to lock the car first). That’s it!! You have no responsibility for any damage to the vehicle.

If you return the car very dirty (dog hairs, loads of sand, paint, etc) you accept us to charge your credit card up to 60€ for a special cleaning. It is not allowed to smoke in any of our cars.

WHAT IF THE QUOTE DOESN'T ARRIVE?

The most common reason for non delivery of our quotes is our customers entering incorrect e-mail addresses. If in 60 minutes from request you have not received any e-mail from us, try again paying special attention to your e-mail address.

Confirmation

Before you confirm your reservation, take a moment to think through your requirements. How many are traveling? How much baggage space do you need? A few moments now may avoid fraud negotiations on the floor of the arrival hall!! We will do our absolute best to assist you in the event that you may need to pay for a bigger car on arrival but very often this is limited to only a few unbooked vehicles.

Cancellation cover

PLEASE LET US KNOW PROMPTLY

Larsen Rent a car doesn’t apply cancellation charges providing that we are notified at least 24 hours prior to the start of your holiday.

We simply beg you to lets us know promptly by e-mail or telephone if for any reason you need to cancel your reservation. We always confirm cancellation promptly the same working day as receipt.
